Billie Eilish Announced A Multi-Day Climate-Focused Event In London
Billie Eilish has announced details of a climate-focused event ‘Overheated’. This six-day event is set to take place in London next month. It will coincide with the UK and Ireland leg of the singer’s ‘Happier Than Ever’ world tour.
The main goal of this event is to bring together climate activists, musicians, and designers. Billie Eilish published a press release where she stated, “Overheated will discuss the climate crisis and the work they are doing to make a difference.”
In the panel discussions, the participants will elaborate on the benefits of a plant-based diet and sustainable fashion. They will also explore the greening practices in the music industry. Different performances by Yungblud, Glastonbury’s Emily Eavis, and Girl In Red are set to be present at this event. Other climate action opportunities are also promised.
Eilish, her brother, and collaborator Finneas will be present as an introduction. A special keynote speaker is also set to be confirmed. Sigrid will also perform live in the music climate session.
The founder of Support + Feed Maggie Baird said in a statement, “We are thrilled to be in London and to have this opportunity to connect and discuss different ways we can take action to mitigate the climate crisis.”
