Blake Lively’s Father Ernie Has Passed Away
Blake Lively’s Father Ernie Lively has died at the age of 74. At the time of death, Ernie was surrounded by his wife and children. Blake Lively and Robyn Lively were also present there.
Ernie was popular among his fans for his performance in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Ernie played Blake’s single father.

He also portrayed Longstreet B. Davenport in The Dukes of Hazzard, and a motel clerk in Turner & Hooch. He played the role of father in Disney’s Suite Life of Zack & Cody. The actor has performed guest roles in different shows like The West Wing, Saving Grace, and Ghost Whisperer.

Ernie underwent a retrograde heart procedure in 2013 and it gave him a new lease on life. Ernie explained that time, “I woke up the other morning and told my wife, ‘I haven’t felt this good in years.'”

The Passenger 57 actor also added, “I moved to Utah because of the snow, but I haven’t been able to ski. I literally didn’t have the heart to do it. Now, I’m excited about living the rest of my life instead of sitting around.”

He expressed excitement about his growing family, revealing, “My youngest daughter is newly married and wants a big family. She says she wants 30 kids. I said, ‘Why don’t you start with one?'”
