Headie One has linked up with French rapper Gazo for his new single “22 Carats”. It will be Headie’s second single that has an international flair. In this track, Headie and Gazo will rap in English and French respectively.
The new single arrives with a beat courtesy of French producer Leo Eynard. This song also comes with a Neetch-directed video. The subtitles in the video translate Headie’s verse into French, and Gazo’s into English.
Earlier Headie released his first single titled “Came In The Scene”. This was the first new music after the last year’s ‘Too Loyal For My Own Good’ mixtape of this singer. NME provided a four-star review and stated about the collection, “proves Headie One’s great musical ear”, and “showcases his singing voice and floor-filling sensibilities”.
It also shared, “‘Too Loyal For My Own Good’ should live on as a highlight of Headie’s discography,” it read. “Think about how much the young man from Tottenham has grown in just a year as he sits pretty as an upper echelon of the UK scene.”
