Get ready to listen to two new tracks by Jeff Tweedy. Because the singer has released two new tracks ‘C’mon America’ and ‘UR-60 Unsent’ for the Sub Pop Singles Club series.
Sub Pop describes the ‘UR-60 Unsent’ as “a pitiful tale of an unsent lovesick mixtape, taken from a separate batch of unreleased songs with mostly pitiful lyrics”. Similarly, the ‘C’mon America’ is mentioned as a slacker-influenced number which is plucked “from an unreleased group of songs with mostly sci-fi lyrics”.
Sub Pop’s Singles Club also includes contributions from TV Priest, Hand Habits, and Porridge Radio with the sixth volume. It is heard that the vinyl collection will be released on December 7.
The last solo album of Tweedy was released in 2020 which is named ‘Love is the King’. However, Tweedy has performed a number of covers after his solo release. He also contributed to the debut album of “Parks and Recreation”.
