Kendrick Lamar said that he was confused by Kanye West and Drake’s reconciliation. Lamer mentioned this confusion in a new song.
The last tear Kanye West shared an image where he and Drake were posing together. It was an attempt to end the longstanding feud between these two stars that have been ongoing since 2009. An olive branch invited the Canadian rapper to perform at a Larry Hoover benefit show in LA. Drake and West subsequently appeared on stage together at that special concert.
Lamar recently released his long-awaited name “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”. This is a 73-minute fifth studio album by the singer. In this album, he briefly shares his thoughts on West and Drake’s unlikely reconciliation.
Lamar raps on the track ‘Father Time’, “Daddy issues kept me competitive, that’s a fact, n***a / I don’t give a fuck what’s the narrative, I am that n***a / When Kanye got back with Drake, I was slightly confused / Guess I’m not as mature as I think, got some healin’ to do.”
Lamar’s recent video also includes a deepfake of West. Additionally, ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ includes a guest appearance from “Portishead’s Beth Gibbons on the song ‘Mother I Sober’.
