Lorde’s Performance At MTV Video Music Awards Has Been Cancelled

MTV Video Music Awards organizers have announced that Lorde’s scheduled performance has been canceled. They declared that she will no longer be performing due to “a change in production elements”

The event is set to take place at the Barclays Center in New York. It is the first time the awards giving ceremony have taken place in this venue. The MTV Video Music Awards will be hosted by Doja Cat.

Many performing artists including Machine Gun Kelly, Justin Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo, Camila Cabello, Lil Nas X, Polo G, and Swedish House Mafia are going to perform at this event. However, Lorde will no longer be able to perform due to “a change in production elements”.

The authority of VMAs tweeted, “Due to a change in production elements, Lorde can no longer perform. We love Lorde and cannot wait for her to perform on the VMA stage in the future!”
