Marvel’s Moon Knight cinematographer Gregory Middleton confirms that Oscar Isaac will star in the Disney+ show. He also mentioned that it will also feature the hero’s iconic white costume.
Earlier it was heard that Isaac was in negotiations for the title role. But Marvel did not confirm his casting at the time. Now it is assumed that Moon Knight will reportedly start filming in March of this year. Because Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has also discussed some story aspects of the show.
Mr. Feige confirmed that the show will explore Spector’s mental illness. This mental illness will be a huge part of his journey in the comics. Feige also stated, “It’s been a while since we’ve had an action hero who jumps out of buildings and gets into fights.”
Moon Knight‘s director Gregory Middleton revealed some exciting update about the series in an Instagram post. Middleton also tagged Isaac in his post’s caption and wrote, “an amazing performer“. It seems he is confirming the actor’s role in the series.
Oscar Isaac is considered as one of the most widely sought-after actors in Hollywood. So, he could be a great fit for the MCU. He also has a good relationship with parent company Disney. Because he is always appreciated for his role as Poe Dameron in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. He also appeared briefly in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider. Now he will likely return for the upcoming sequel.
Moon Knight’s white costume is also an exciting news for the fans. It will help Spector stand out from other Marvel characters. Because none of whom have worn a costume quite like that in the MCU.
