Morrissey has announced full dates and venues for his 2022 UK tour. It will be an exciting event for this Smiths star. The show will be held in Blackpool, Doncaster, Glasgow, Stockton, Manchester, and Birmingham. The show will also continue in London and Brighton along with the previously announced concert in Ireland by this singer.
The former Smiths man has shared the update about the tour on his Instagram page. Morrissey will kick off the tour at the Gleneagles INEC Arena in Killarney. It is assumed that he will start the concert after wrapping up at Brighton Centre.
Two London dates at the capital’s Coliseum were booked for the show. Fans can also enjoy his songs at the O2 Academy Brixton on October 9 and 11. All the information is now open to all. However, the ticket details are yet to be announced.
The singing star stated that songs from his long-mooted fourteenth solo album ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’ will be present on this tour. In a recent post on his website, he said, “The Morrissey concerts in Las Vegas in July will showcase songs from the album ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’, which was recorded in January 2021.”
He also added, “The thrill of this album was the speed under which it was recorded. Considering the knots of grief I had experienced [sic] at the time, it made ‘Bonfire’ an incredible achievement for me.”
