New Commonwealth Project Announced By Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may have stepped down from the royal roles, but doing their roles to support others. Because after stepping down as working royals, the couple announced a new Commonwealth Project.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s nonprofit Archewell Foundation are trying to support Commonwealth countries around the world. This foundation is helping a project in Dominica to complete an emergency relief center.

Chef José Andrés, founder of World Central Kitchen shared the news that they are now working with Meghan and Harry’s Archewell Foundation. They will work together to create Community Relief Centers especially in those areas that are prone to climate disasters. The first center of this joint project is constructed in the Caribbean Commonwealth nation of Dominica.

The center will be used as a safe shelter against future hurricanes. People will also get all types of kitchen equipment that will be active through using solar power. A culinary training program will also be planned to prepare food for a large number of people during any emergency.

The couple left full-time royal work last year. Previously Prince Harry served as President of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust with his wife Meghan. That organization work for youth empowerment in Commonwealth countries around the world.
