As a knight, Prince Andrew is the oldest order of chivalry in the world. In this royal event, he will join with fellow knights. Most of the rest of the royal family will be present at this event at Windsor. Prince Andrew’s older brother Prince Charles and nephew Prince William will also be there.

As a member of Queen Elizabeth’s family, Andrew was made a knight. But with other patronages and military titles, he kept that title irrespective of his association with a convicted sex offender. In recent years, he was forced to step away when Virginia Giuffre charged a sexual assault lawsuit against him.

However, Andrew was absent from the Trooping the Color occasion. As he was no longer a working royal, he was barred from appearing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. He was also absent from the National Service of Thanksgiving due to being COVID positive.
