Prince William Is “Very Proud” Of His Grandparents For Getting The COVID-19 Vaccine
Prince William is very glad as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip have received the COVID-19 vaccine. During a recent call with frontline workers, he revealed his reaction to this news.

Prince William said, “My grandparents have had the vaccine and I’m very proud of them for doing that.” The Duke also added, “It’s really important that everyone gets their vaccine.”

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip both are considered at high risk for severe COVID-19 due to their high age. They have been taking precautions to avoid contracting the virus since the pandemic began last year. The royal couple had received the immunization from a household doctor at Windsor Castle. They both have been staying here for the last few months.

Buckingham Palace revealed that they had received the first dose of a vaccine in January. Now it is known that they have received the second dose of the vaccine. A spokesperson of Buckingham Palace announced, “The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh have today received COVID-19 vaccinations.”

Prince William was excited that his grandparents had received the full dose. The Duke is also extremely glad to see the success of the larger vaccination campaign. So, he said, “I want to say a huge congratulations to everyone involved in the vaccination program because it looks tremendous, it really does.”

In a recent video call, William said, “I know what a massive difference it is going to make to everyone. It is also worth pointing out I think that this isn’t something that happens really easily and that everyone has access to around the world. This is because we have a world-leading NHS and we have the right people, research, and development here.”
