The Duke of Cambridge is back at work after a long summer break. Prince William has marked Emergency Services Day in the U.K.

He was heading out to South London to see first responders. He spent a long time with people who had been rescued by first responders. He also led tributes to those working and volunteering in the emergency services and the health service.

Prince William shared stories on his official Twitter account. He wrote, “5-year-old Lila, who was successfully resuscitated by ambulance technician Charlotte Speers, along with fire-fighters Marc Rustage and James Knight, after she collapsed.”

Prince William was a former air ambulance pilot and the welfare of emergency services crews is very close to his heart. He and his wife Kate Middleton always tried to support the first responder teams during this pandemic.

During his time working Prince William also face another issue suicide. At that time, his added e release stated, “witnessed first-hand the challenges that emergency responders face on a daily basis during his roles as both an Air Ambulance and RAF Search and Rescue pilot.”
