Last year’s Daniel Craig played spy James Bond role for the last time in the movie named “No Time to Die”. Queen Elizabeth’s New Year’s honors list included Daniel Craig with the same title James Bond holds.

The 53-year-old British actor is now recognized by royalty for his services to film and theatre. Queen Elizabeth’s annual New Year’s honors list mentioned the fictional character James Bond that holds the award status in the franchise.

Craig debuted as James Bond role in 2006 in the film named “Casino Royale”. Now he ended his journey with this British spy popular character with 2021’s No Time to Die. Previously Craig was named an honorary officer of the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy. At that time Craig said, “I am truly privileged and honored to be appointed the rank of Honorary Commander in the senior service.”

He stated, “The idea that my name will be alongside those of so many actors who have inspired me during my life is really quite incomprehensible and not something I could have ever imagined. All I can really say is that it is an enormous, mind-boggling privilege to have been invited to join the road.”

Craig also said, “I never thought I’d say this, but it’s an absolute honor to be walked all over in Hollywood.” Then he added, “If happiness was measured by the company we keep, then me being on this pavement surrounded by all of these legends makes me a very, very, very happy man. So thank you very much.”
