The former pro rugby player Mike Tindall revealed that his family of five took a summer vacation in Scotland. They spent the vacation with Queen Elizabeth who stayed there in August and September.
Queen’s Grandson-in-Law Mike Tindall chatted about his summer at the new episode of “The Good, The Bad & The Rugby” podcast. In that show, he dished about family getaways with cohosts Alex Payne and James Haskell. The granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth and his wife Zara was also with him on the vacation. Their three children: Mia, Lena, and Lucas were also along with them.
Queen Elizabeth traditionally spends the late summer and early fall at her Balmoral estate in Scotland. At this time, she likes to arrange picnics and shooting parties for family gatherings. Mike said, “We went up to Scotland, so we’ve had a good family vacay through August, which was quite nice with the kids.”
Mike also shared, “[Mia]’s generally pretty bold, but the first time she was a little bit nervous walking in. Wasn’t very nervous when she walked out, and then Lena, she’s still at nursery but we’ve swapped her nursery into the school to prepare her for next year,” He said. “She was very, very clingy, but now she’s fully into it.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton also came to Balmoral for a visit. Princess Eugenie also visited Scotland to meet her grandmother and parents. The princess was spotted with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their 7-month-old son August.
