Red Carpet Debut of Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell

Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell made a red-carpet debut at the 2021 ESPYS event. It was another big step in their relationship as they both are already winners in the game of love.

Matt James and his girlfriend Rachael Kirkconnell attended 2021 ESPYS in New York City. Fans couldn’t help but notice that it was the official red-carpet appearance of this pair as a couple. Matt wore a plaid suit and black loafers while Rachael was in a sheer black dress with a plunging neckline.

Two months ago, Matt mentioned that he wanted to give his relationship with Rachael another chance. At that time, the commercial real estate broker explained in an interview, “I think the best way to put it is that we can have critical conversations about being in this relationship and what I need in a partner—especially if that woman isn’t Black—[is] to understand what comes with me and my life and being Black.”

He also stated, “It’s on people who care about being allies to do the work to be truly antiracist. And I think it’s unfair to leave people without the ability to unlearn and be better.”
