Robert Durst Convicted Of Killing Susan Berman In 2000
Robert Durst was found guilty of murdering Susan Berman twenty years ago. It was also revealed that Susan Berman had information on the disappearance of Durst’s first wife Kathie.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón convicted the 78-year-old real estate heir for killing Susan Berman. The jury found Robert Durst guilty of the first-degree murder of his former longtime friend and confidante.

Gascón said, “The jury’s decision demonstrates how our legal system can work to hold accountable people regardless of their wealth and status in life,” Gascón also mentioned, “I want to commend our prosecution team and investigators for their diligent work to ultimately bring justice for those who have been waiting more than 20 years.”
Durst shot Berman in her Los Angeles home on Dec. 23, 2000, when Berman was intended to speak with New York investigators about the disappearance of Durst’s wife.

In the 2015 HBO docuseries “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst” Durst himself admitted to killing Berman and his missing wife. Later he was arrested in New Orleans in March 2015.
