Robert Irwin Paid Homage To His Late Dad

Robert Irwin took his late father Steve Irwin’s car to meet Bindi’s baby for the first time. It was a great homage to the late star Steve Irwin indeed.

The late “Crocodile Hunter,” Steve Irwin, wasn’t here to meet his first grandchild. But Robert Irwin made sure of his presence by driving his old car to the hospital. It seems that he was there in spirit.

Robert tried to find a sentimental way so that his beloved dad can be a part of this big day. Steve’s only daughter Bindi Irwin welcomed her first child on March 25. After few days, Robert revealed on Instagram that he took his dad’s old car to meet baby girl Grace for the first time in the hospital.

The 17-year-old star wrote on social media “My first solo drive was a super special one – took my dad’s old Ute to see Grace in the hospital right after she was born.”

Robert also shared a smiling photo of himself and the white vehicle alongside the story. He also posted pictures of himself holding baby Grace with his big sister. He captioned the images, “This little one picked the two best parents in the entire world. The most incredible, caring, and strong Mum… and the funniest, coolest and kindest Dad. Love you three so much – I can’t wait for this exciting journey ahead!”
