Slowdive Is Working On A New Album
The band Slowdive confirmed that they are working on a new album. It will be their first new album in five years. The shoegaze band shared the news on social media and revealed that the follow-up to their self-titled 2017 album is on its way. They announced the news on the band’s official Twitter account.

They also shared a picture of Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell and captioned it as “Studio vibes”. Goswell quote tweeted the photo from her personal Twitter account. She wrote, “LP5.”
In 2020, they shared a series of photos on their official Instagram account with the hashtag “#slowdivelp5”. So, they have been teasing the arrival of their fifth album for a couple of years.

The first photo was featuring the band’s drum kit. It appeared on Goswell’s social account. The next photo was of Nick Chaplin on his bass, and then Halstead playing guitar.
The band Slowdive formed in the late 1980s. All the band’s members were fractured into different groups to pursue other projects. The musical band released three albums, ‘Just For A Day, ‘Souvlaki’ and ‘Pygmalion’.

The band’s members are Rachel Goswell, Christian Savill, drummer Matt Duckworth, Ryan Graveface, and Steve Clarke.
