Recently the rapper Snoop Dogg has applied for the term “Snoop Doggs” at the US Patent and Trademark Office. He has not launched the brand yet. But intends to do so sometime in the future. In the application, he mentioned that he plans to use it to sell hot dogs and other types of sausage.

In 2011, the rapper applied for a similar trademark “Snoop Scoops” for an ice cream company. However, he didn’t produce or release any products under that venture. Snoop has launched his brand of gin which is popular as INDOGGO. Trusted Spirits’ co-founder Keenan Towns and Snoop initiated the project “laid-back California style”. This project was an inspiration from his 1994 single ‘Gin And Juice’.

The rapper broke the records of Guinness World Record by creating the world’s largest gin and juice beverage in 2018. Last year he released his 19th studio album ‘The Algorithm’. It was his first project for Def Jam.

Snoop said about the album, “There’s so much talent on this record,” said Snoop, “so many styles of music, it breaks the algorithm. Right now, the algorithm is telling us you have to rap this way, you have to sound this way, but they’re not telling you how it’s supposed to feel. My algorithm is going to give you a feeling, not a sound.”
