Sweden’s Princess Sofia And Prince Carl Philip Tested Positive For Coronavirus
Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden tested positive for coronavirus. Last week they attended a funeral for Queen Silvia’s brother.
It is heard that Carl Philip, the fourth in line to the throne, and his wife Sofia are feeling well under the circumstances. King Karl XIV Gustaf, Queen Silvia, the prince’s older sister Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel will be tested as well. Because they all get together at that funeral program.
Earlier in April Sofia tried to help nurses during the health crisis. She completed an intensive training program online and began work at Sophiahemmet Hospital. The hospital authority said in an Instagram post, “Princess Sofia is not only Sophia’s honorary chair, but now also works with us…This is after having completed our basic nursing education, which has been developed to relieve the now severely strained healthcare staff.”
Many celebrities and world leaders have been infected by coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic. England’s Prince Charles experienced mild symptoms of COVID-19 earlier in the pandemic period. Prince William and U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson were also infected by this virus. US President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and their 14-year-old son Barron Trump also tested positive for the virus in September.
