Adam Levine is riding a wave of pain! Because he covered his entire leg with a massive tattoo.
Recently Adam Levine shared an Instagram Story where he revealed the ink that now sweeps from his ankle to his upper thigh.
The design of this tattoo is inspired by a famous art piece of Japan. Japanese artist Hokusai’s great artwork “The Great Wave Off Kanagawa” is now wrapped around Adam’s entire limb.
The Maroon 5 star captioned the video, “Today was ouch but worth it.” The artist later joked that having the tattoo on his leg made it “the most painful way to get a tan.”
It is heard that this is the singer’s 27th tattoo and this massive tattoo is just the latest addition to Adam’s body of work. In 2016 the popular singer got his enormous tattoo on his back. That tattoo presented a ship and the horizon in the background. Adam mentioned that it took about six months to complete. He also has another large tattoo that covers the entirety of his back. These two tattoos he previously had done of a pin-up girl and a paw print.
The musician shared about his daughter and music career in a recent interview. He said, “It’s funny how you go back and rewatch like these old videos, and listen to these old songs, and I’ve been playing her a lot of Avril Lavigne records.”
