LL Cool J performed a live concert called “We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert” over the weekend. In this live set, he was joined by several guests on stage. Later the concert was brought to an abrupt end due to bad weather.

Several hits from the rapper’s back catalog just create a pleasant environment. The rapper also performed his ’90s track ‘Mama Said Knock You Out’. Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, and French Montana also made appearance in this concert.

During the concert, LL Cool J brought on Run-DMC’s track It’s Tricky’. The hip-hop was a live rendition and The Furious Five members Melle Mel and Scorpio also appeared in that super performing concert. They played their hit track ‘The Message’.

Earlier his year, LL Cool J, along with other rap icons including Nas, Lil Kim, Fat Joe eventually become the Universal Hip Hop Museum in the Bronx. The museum will be the first-ever museum solely dedicated to rap music. It is expected to open for visitors in 2023. LL Cool J said at the ceremony, “Hip hop is one of those things that really gave my life meaning. It made me feel like I really could do something with my life.”
